How to Reduce Impurities in Bean Processing

Strict raw material screening

Reject moldy, damaged, shriveled and worm-eaten beans; remove large debris, stones and clods manually or by machine at the source.

Dry pre-cleaning

Adopt air classification, vibration sieving and specific gravity sorting to separate light impurities, dust, broken scraps and heterogeneous grains efficiently without damaging bean tissues.

Magnetic impurity removal

Install permanent magnet separators at feeding, conveying and grinding sections to fully eliminate iron scraps and metal foreign matters.

Scientific water washing and rinsing

Use flowing clean water to wash away surface soil, pesticide residues and attached dirt; control washing time to avoid nutrient loss and excessive water absorption.

Effective seed coat removal

Apply peeling, rubbing or soaking softening methods to remove coarse seed coats, which are major fiber impurities affecting finished product purity.

Soaking and elution purification

Moderate soaking dissolves partial soluble impurities, residual ash and anti-nutrient attachments on bean surface, then drain and rinse thoroughly.

Post-crushing fine sieving

Set multi-layer graded sieves after crushing and ultra-fine grinding to sieve out coarse residues and unseparated coarse impurities.

Moisture and temperature regulation

Stable low-temperature conditioning avoids material deterioration and mixed impurity generation, and keeps processing materials uniform and clean.

Closed dust-free production

Adopt closed conveying and negative pressure dust collection systems to prevent secondary dust and external impurities from mixing into materials.

Regular equipment maintenance

Clean processing pipelines, grinders and storage tanks regularly to remove residual old materials and avoid cross-mixing impurities.
